Back in the days when it was gloriously sunny, V6 , wannabe and I met up for a blast across mid Essex. Initially fast and furious, it wound up with a very welcome first pub pint for months in the evening sunshine and a portion of lockdown takeaway chips. I think we all felt better for it! Between Wannabe's sparking brake discs and the assault on the senses that is being overtaken by a Honda V6 powered 5 I felt like a driving extra in Days of Thunder!    |

One of the best drives I've had. One for the memory banks. Thanks for organising the route Gavin Highlights for me included... driving at the limit on some slightly loose feeling country road surfaces with little slides here and there, getting on the gas and feeling the endless shove in between corners, views across miles of empty fields, a pint in the golden sun to talk about it all. Great times and chat. Thanks lads. Let's repeat that again soon  |

Or, as the film said, there is no spoon... Given mine's less standard engine-wise than Snomad's, I was hoping it might be a little bit quicker than his, but his is quick!! His better suspension also means corners are easier and more controlled at speed, which means 'real world' pace is very rapid and *if* there is any little extra power in mine, it is more than cancelled out! We need a rolling road day... (And I need to get buying some shiny new suspension, lol.) |

One star for every two months it was off the road Wannabe Gavin is a quick driver and his dampers are AMAZING. Together it's a good combo in the twisties. |
