Hi all,
I've recently picked up a Mk1 Eunos as a fun car, look forward to getting to know it better ā currently I've just given it a test drive and then brought it home from Croydon, and it's been sat in the garage since!
It's a 91 NA 1.6, don't really know many more details than that! Previous owners put in a roll bar, bigger brakes and coilover suspension, an induction kit and some bigger wheels (Wolfrace 15s). Is there somewhere I can plug in my VIN to find out what it started as? The history file I have with the car only goes back to 2016, is there a way to find out when it was imported?
I got a fresh MOT when I bought it and there are a couple of advisories to sort, plus it had some steering wobble on the motorway so need to get that sorted, but hopefully not much more.
Will check out the technical FAQs and try to work out what I need to know, then hopefully take it out for some action next month. Will look out for some local meets too (West Kent, near Sevenoaks).

UK Mx5 vin starts 'JMZNA' I believe www.japan-partner.com/check-manufacture-year.htmlas to UK history, try the DVLA's web-resorces.... www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/and vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/sometimes can be quite interesting if not frightening Rich.

Welcome, Im fairly local to you at biggin hill!
I don't do anything locally but I'm organising a stand at Retrorides Weekender at Goodwood for CombustionPunks in May and happy to convoy to the Mighty5s trackday if you choose to attend in July (Horney will announce dates at some point)
For import, if it came over after 2005 there'll be it's full UK MOT history on the government website to look back on

Thanks all! Looks like it was first registered in 1999, so I presume that's when it was imported. MOT history is good, I checked that before buying š
Any recommendations for a garage vaguely near Sevenoaks with expertise in these little beauties?

DIFF; A. LOCK BRAKE NOT EQUIPPED
All good, was wondering about ABS and LSD, the rest is as described by the guy I bought it from.
Does the 'Model code' just give me the info that's expanded in the 'Advanced code' part?

I think it's the MX5 Restorer on the south coast who is recommended - not near but also not far! Or there's a place just south of the Thames - can't remember the name of it now but seems to have a good reputation.

Freelance Mazda in Chatham maybe? They're not too far away. Brighton is a bit further but will check them out too.

They seemed professional when I spoke to them but I didn't use them in the end because I used a more local place (and was not very impressed with the spraying work, despite being apparently a show-winning company...).
