I am putting the loom back in the car, and have completely forgotten what these things do... can you help? There are two areas, and as I type this one, I think I may have worked it out... It is behind the driver seat, and extends back so that the plug is just in the boot area. I think this may have been for the electric aerial. Can anybody confirm this? The next one is trickier. This is the part of the loom in the boot - you can see the black socket in the picture that is the number plate light. There are two plugs. Plug A - it has two pretty hefty red wires going to it. But i don;t think the plug has ever been used. Any ideas? Plug B - has two puny wires (red and black both with silver markings) Any ideas what these are for? I assume plug B is a lights on power (as the wires are the same colours as the number plate light) but have not powered it up to measure yet.

if you've a high-spec car with e-ariel then thats a possibility Rich. Nothing but the best for me... Yes, it did have an electric one when I first bought it. Pretty convinced that's what it is. as to the pair by the passenger rear light, I've got same in my '91 Eunos (unconnected) ang am too lazy to trace them I'll have a looksee in my '90 Eunos to see if there's anything there? Rich. Well... i am too lazy as well, that's why i asked you lot! But, I have stripped back the loom and had a quick look. And I have worked it out. The plug near the battery is for a direct feed from the battery (I must have removed the plug from the battery, or it just wasn't fitted on my car). The plug in the boot is for the HRW relay, which then feeds back to the HRW plug. Mystery solved. Red line is the thick red wire, yellow line is the thick red with white stripe wire:

It is JDM - so screw you. Well the loom is anyway. New shell.
I have already removed all that prarrie canoe from the loom. Pure horse and rider experience and all that crap.

I do keep looking at everything that gets taken off, and thinking I could just go in a diet.
Full disclosure... Writing this having just finished some very nice chocolate. Oh dear.
