Things are opening up again, and I've booked a trackday at Lydden Hill (near Canterbury in Kent) for 13 June.
A non-forumite MX-5 friend of mine is booked in too.

Had a great day at Lydden Hill, hadn't been there before. Turns out there were about 6 MX5s at the trackday, my Mk1, four Mk2s and a Mk3 from what I could see. It's quite like Brands Hatch Indy circuit really, only 4 corners and quite a big hill, which was annoyingly between the power bands of 2nd and 3rd so my 1.6 felt quite sluggish. I didn't feel like I was getting the most out of one of the corners, but still quite happy with my laps, best one just over 55 seconds. Still working on getting the videos out!

lydden is a funny little place. wouldnt really even call it a circuit, more of a.. i dunno... almost a dirt track  it is quite fun though. |
