Hi all.
I have heard people say that the NB suspension setup is superior to the NA (in terms of geo I guess).
I have also heard that NB suspension can be fitted to an NA. My front subframe already has NB geo, so really this is regarding the rear setup. Can this be changed, and is it worthwhile?
All opinions welcome.

Can this be changed, and is it worthwhile? so you have an NB front crossmember, rack, top wishbones & hubs / uprights then? (the mk2 crossmember has wishbone mounts in slightly diferent position to mk1 aparently ) as to the rear, the crossmember has it's exhaust mount in a diferent position but this is easily altered (weld) and aparently the rear hub/uprights are slightly wider (~6mm?) to give wider track also, na & NB lower wishbones have diferent arb link mounts but are interchangable and diferent age hubs can have diferent size wheelstud holes so possibly worth considering if fitting longer studs I believe.... Rich.

Don't the NB rears have a longer spring length and/or different bump stops, which can be useful to prevent bottoming out?
NB top mounts and dampers with chopped springs (1-1.25 coils) rides at about standard NA height, but I find it a bit 'abrupt' over sharp bumps and it's a bit bouncy generally, I presume because chopping springs increases their spring rate.

When I say the front has NB geo, what I really meant was the front subframe has been made to mimic the NB geo (as I understand it) - more than that I couldn't say!
The differences seem to be more extensive than some parts of the internet seemed to think though!

top wishbones are interchangable (bar the arb link mount diferences on lower) but top balljoints are longer on NB & fl BUT can be used on NA uprights with a ~3mm spacer washer to allow the nut to tighten properly. NB subfames had slightly diferent pivot / bolting positions for diferent geometry and diferent rack mounts than NA. NB had altered uprights to work with the subframe geometry... aparently Rich.

Sounds a lot of work, is it worth it?

Sounds a lot of work, is it worth it? supposed to remove a bit of bumpsteer if the car is lowered??? probably Mazda's answer to the 'RS' models having altered geometry trackrod end's Rich.

Steering rack mounting spacers do the same job. Main advantage of the mk2 suspension is the top mount design - better location.

I've never found bump steer a problem in my Eunos with normal replacement track rod ends and no rack spacers, it's lowered but not silly low.
