I'm Mike.... my job.... to keep my O/H's Mk1 Mx5 Eunos automatic running and in good(ish) condition.
Our current MX5 is our third... first one always leaked into the cab in the rain, even with a new hood and replacement rain rail.
... second one always leaked into the boot.
... third one... which we've had for quite a few years nice and dry inside cab and boot.
1.6 auto... sluggish... not one bit... previous owner advanced the timing... which I was told improved(s) performance somewhat. It is certainly a fun car to drive
Oh!..... And just today passed it's MOT once more... Yay!
I have a few discussion points and am seeking some information/advice which I will ask about elsewhere. Inserted a pic.... not looking it's best a bit grubby and unpolished at the moment...It is not a showcar... it is definitely a runner... not daily but in regular use.
