TDMC SPRINT AT PERRANPORTH.

Hi Folks,
Apart from the Camera bug.
It was a great couple of days learning About the new Mongrel
The power delivery was excellent, I was a bit shy of using max revs though.
I fitted extended lower camber arms on the front of the car and it has heavy duty anti-roll bars front and back with the stock Bilstein shocks and springs, IL motorsports bushes + Diff bushes with MSM engine mounts.
I did a DIY Alignment. The car was very neutral with this set up and NS2R rubber.
No tail happiness out of the hairpins, mild understeer when I bowled into the crossover too fast.
The back end squatted down and the front lifted off the line without too much wheelspin.
My main fault was slowing down way to early for the corners.
I was amazed at how different sprinting is to doing a Hillclimb.
The other mazdas entered,
One was a stripped out 1800cc that had a lot of development He was 4 seconds faster than me, The other was a Mk2.5 1600 turbo again he was 3 to 4 seconds faster than me.
I am hoping to do a few more sprints next year as well as some hillclimbs.
