.... Or mine anyway
I acquired my 7th MX5 (5 NA, 1 NC and 1ND) back in May of 2018.
I drove down south to pick it up and bar a few issues was quite happy with what greeted me.
Chaste White NA Eunos
1.8
Jackson Racing supercharger kit
Ms2 running in parallel and fitted/mapped by Skuzzle
P5 Sportdrive coilovers
And that was it!
No rust anywhere, original dimples etc
We had driven from Manchester to High Wycombe, then popped to halfords and bought a head unit to get me through the rest of the journey. From Halfords we drove 2 hours the wrong way to get a hardtop followed by a further hour even further away to pick up a Bride seat before the return leg which luckily my mate Joe did in the MX5. All this in the height of last years summer heat!

So Unfortunately over the years i've stopped being into photography, However i'm going to make a conscious effort to take pictures.
The 10 hour day above highlighted a few issues, the most annoying being the massive bog at tip in, making it difficult to hill start or even just to drive smoothly on the road. This turned out to be an issue with acceleration Enrichment so luckily easily fixed on tunerstudio.
Progress at the end of the first day of working on it(Give or take)
Rota Grid V in 15x7 ET20
Bride seat Fitted
IRP Shifter
Nardi 350mm Deep corn Steering Wheel
Mud Flaps removed
Moss Tsi intakes
AEM Methanol injection to cool the blower (Pre charger)
GCfab GC3 (I think) Roll bar
A good hard clean!

I removed the pedal covers don't worry!
At this stage it seemed only fair to chuck some pads in and do a trackday with Joe in his ugly Ass 328 swapped compact!

The track day up against the E36 highlighted just how little use the supercharger was, the E36 would literally just walk away.
So I Sold the supercharger and drove back down south for a used turbo setup comprising of
650cc injectors
Begi manifold
Customer downpipe back
GT2554 off a Ca18
Decent sized intercooler

Quick picture after the first day of trying to swap over to turbo power.
Essentially I got the car running on this setup quite well but was never 100% happy with it, Queue my mate Lewis breaking his MX5.
So off him i bought
Flyin miata intercooler and piping
Kraken 3 inch exhaust
Which forced me to change my manifold over to Kraken and there Cast down pipe elbow!
No pictures of this but we all know what that looks like.
At this point the car was running great, so how could i mess it up? more bits!
Drunk on the boat to the nurburgring I ordered a skunk2 inlet manifold and throttle body, also set time aside to fit a flyin miata stage 1 clutch which should be plenty for me.
I also fitted some Subaru Impreza Brembos, this forced my hand into fitting extended studs and 13mm spacers, which due to my soft suspensions meant i was getting a lot of rubbing, so i swapped my front wings (one was knackered anyway) for a set of unknown 25mm front wings. These came off facebook market place and fit like total Sh1t. I rattle canned them eventually and they do the job, I like the style of them but honestly they line up nowhere.

Whilst I had the rattle cans out i also fitted Carbon Miata GV Copy rear lights and a vindi ducktail.

The car then got some Aerocatches, side stripes to match the boston green rocker cover and aligned ready for anglesey.
At some point in all this i also changed to a Megasquirt MS3 mini
Double Dragon

Seeing an ITB car there and having issues with my own cars brakes left me wanting for progress
So i ordered some Meister Clubrace coilovers and bought some wilwoods with master cylinder off my mate Lewis.
These bits are all on and the next trackday is booked for 14/10/2019 so fingers crossed I may actually leave happy!
Thanks for looking!
Full spec hopefully to close off.
