Hi all, quick question.
I am changing my coilovers and happened to notice before taking it all apart that my front ride height was uneven. When measured (roughly, with a ruler) from wheel centre cap to wheel arch there was approximately a 12mm difference. However, when I took the coilovers off and measured them (accurately this time!) they were set within 2mm of each other.
Accepting that the initial ride height measure isn’t the most accurate, there was still a discrepancy side to side which I expected to be just poorly adjusted coilovers (they came with the car and I’ve never messed with them as I’ve always wanted to replace them). The difference was noticeable to the naked eye when I actually looked properly.
Is this a problem, and if so where might the difference be from? Or can I just adjust the new coilovers to suit and have them slightly different heights?
Any wise thoughts would be welcome…

Disconnect the ARB from one of the struts & remeasure the ride height.
You might wanna roll the car forward & back, & bounce it a few times to resettle the suspension after jacking it up, etc.

Cheers for that. I'll have a look when it all goes back together.

Could also be preloaded bushings....maybe Shouldn't be as when I rebuilt it all, I torqued everything at ride height, but I'll redo it when I fit the new coilovers.
