Hi all.
I have recently found that my shift top on my mk1 is leaking a bit. This is a trifle galling as it's only three years old (but out of warranty naturally!).
What options are there for new hoods? Are some manufacturers better than others for quality etc?
I need a plastic rear screen to allow for my rollbar, and would like a blue mohair finish.
Does anyone have good experiences of any hoods!?

Legend has it that Jack Smith in Swansea is someone worth visiting....
not great if you're not local though.
I've had a seat retrimmed there ~30 years ago but no recent busness (as I've not needed anything)

Cheers for the feedback.
Sadly I've had a the year old roof start falling apart, and I've just had a new rain rail fitted that still leaks like a sieve...
I had hoped that a mazda would prove more waterproof than my old TVR...!

I had hoped that a mazda would prove more waterproof than my old TVR...! They are usually. I bought a used mohair roof (just the fabric) at a jumble for £30 a few years ago, and it's still totally watertight. Where's it leaking?

The stitching has broken on the drivers side rear window zip at the base (though weirdly it's not leaking from there).
The rain rail (brand new and fitted by a pro - 2.5hrs staffing in the cold!) leaks at the base right behind the drivers seat and water just comes in from two places above that.
I've not treated it roughly in the three years since fitting, and waterproof it semi regularly. A bit vexing really!
