Just been looking at my discs & they seem to have gone a blue colour which I put down to getting pretty hot. My question is are they knackered? They show very little wear but is it worth changing them to preserve braking performance?

I just ignored it, data kept saying 1.1 braking G's so don't think it negatively impacted braking performance in my case.
Just keep an eye on crack formation (those that reach the outer edge of the disc).

Just keep an eye on crack formation (those that reach the outer edge of the disc). Yeah, there are lots of tiny cracks radiating across about 1/2 the disc stopping about 10mm short of the edge. Will watch them & probably swap the discs at the end of the season. |
