 2007 Mk3, just got my windscreen replaced with Pilkington glass and a new seal. What's gone wrong here? The seal meets the bottom of the glass but there is this large gap on both sides of the car. Any help appreciated. Glass fitter is getting a new windscreen and seal but I don't have any confidence that it will be any different! The fitter also managed to lose one of the white clips for the rubber and tore the rubber in multiple places   |

Would anyone be able to lift up the corner of their scuttle and take a photo please? Looking to see the relationship between the windscreen, seal, scuttle and car body.

Replacement windscreen and seal look much better (perhaps still a little short but much better). The previous fitter had actually fitted his seal inside out ...  |
