Hi all megasquirt tuning experts...
I have done almost all of the work on my car myself. Except painting and tuning, becase i don't have the patience for either.
After completing my rebuild, I have had the car tuned by somebody over here in the states and it seemed to go well.
However, I have a couple of issues and wanted to get people's opinion.
Lumpy low speed
When I am tootling along my road in first/second gear near tickover and then with a tiny bit of throttle, it is very lumpy. To the point where I have to dip the clutch and raise the revs before re-engaging the clutch. Never used to do this, and I don't think this is something that should happen.
Boost cut issues
I am getting the car out again after winter this week, and have just been out to bed-in some new pads. I am geting boost cut when accelerating with any more than 75% throttle (my estimate - not recorded and traces or anything yet).
Now.. it was tuned in warm/hot weather and it is now about 10C outside, but I would expect the tune to allow for this and be drivable.
I want to get some opinions on this. Questions:
I am not a complete idiot and will be able to work my way through tunerstudio to look at things, but I have purposely stayed away from it becuase I know i will tinker and break things. So treat me like an idiot when it somes to tuning and tuner studio.
I haven't contacted the tuner yet as when I've tried it in the past he is extremely difficult to get hold of and I don;t really want to pay for any more of his time until I understand what is happening.
Thanks in advance for any help....

- Am i being unresonable with the above (particulalry the boost cut issues)?
- What should I look at in the tune to see if the tune is trying to deal with this and i have another problem, or the tune is bit off?
