Things will probably be just fine, I just don't want the mechanic chap to have a bolt snap/cross-thread or find the seals are pissing out fluid everywhere like an incontinent dog, and then either not be able to get hold of the correct replacement part for a week or more or end up having to buy some random manufacturer of unknown quality to get the job done in a couple of days.
And, of course, while it is all apart is the time to get 'preventative maintenance' jobs done and (hopefully) save duplication of labour.
Although being a 5, the main worry is probably whether the parts will have a solid shell to continue to be bolted into...

None of it is hard to get hold of in my experience, and I wouldn't do the rear main seal or any of the gearbox gaskets/seals unless it's leaking. You shouldn't need a new clutch fork but maybe the dust boot if yours is perished.

I think the 'don't touch what you don't need to' approach is probably a good idea I've ordered the seals etc. 'just in case' as at least then they'll be to hand if the mechanic chap needs them, and they weren't too expensive. I'll leave the replacement bolts and washers off the order so hopefully nothing will snap or cross-thread... lol A small moan, though - why does MX5Parts not do Express Delivery? 'Sorry sir, it all goes out First Class' is zero use when I need something guaranteed on my doorstep in a given timeframe, instead of hoping and praying it actually arrives for when it is needed... Oh, and £5 delivery for a single nylon washer, Moss Europe? Really? *waves fist at cloud*
