I bought this years ago as I had on overheating problem on my old mk1.
Turned out the issue was the radiator which I changed and never actually fitted this gauge.
It has been in the garage for a while, never taken out of the box

D1 Spec Guage fulfil the requirements of mechanical meters by being lightweight and compact, but further enhances this by offering a display which is not just attractive, but clearly viable both during the day and night.
High Performance Stepping Motors are used to control the gauge needle allowing for precise linear display and improved reliability. Peak hold, warning, replay, real time display, self diagnosis and brightness adjustment features which are only obtainable through the use of electronic meters and provide flexibility for the user.
D1 Spes gauge series don't use EL type or bulb type illumination light, but are using LED to light up themselves at night driving.
