Darktable is as awesum as lightroom but is completely free. You need to make a bootable linux USB stick to take around with you by the sounds of it. I am using Fedora with the LXDE desktop which is super lightweight with absolutely no junk or bullprarrie canoe shiny features yet still nicely customisable. Darktable + Gimp + Shotwell and you never need to worry about stupid bullprarrie canoe licenses for photo stuffs.

Hm. Lightroom so easy to export with the watermarks though. Preset settings of mine just do a batch thing on all my photos, export with watermark, done!
I'll give darktable a go though. Is mac compatible?

Ah I see. Darktable will do batch processing of RAW files, I believe there is a watermark module for adding vector logos an ting. Some Linux goodies will work on OSX, depends which version you have. This is from www.darktable.org/install/ - "OS X Download the latest DMG disk image for darktable Mount the thing Pull the darktable icon into applications folder Good luck This bundle supports only OS X versions 10.6 - 10.11 (El Capitan) running on 64 bit Intel architecture. What to do with dialog saying ""darktable" can't be opened because it was not downloaded from the Mac App Store": Locate darktable in Applications folder (or wherever you installed it) using Finder Do "Open" via context menu You will be presented with similar-looking dialog, but this time there will be second button allowing you to run the application After that you will be able to start darktable without this trick (well, until you update it, then you will have to do above steps again) or you can prevent this from happening by running "xattr -d com.apple.quarantine ~/Downloads/darktable*.dmg" command before mounting the image (or "xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/darktable.app" after installing)."
