The other day I took a non-car friend out for a blast in my car, I was subsequently barraged with the standard questions "How fast is it?" "How much have you spent?" "Are you mad?" All fairly simple to answer (Fairly, but its not setting the world on fire, Far too much and yes quite possibly) However what I found hard to answer was "what is it worth?" It has left me pondering the worth of my car and found it a pretty tricky subject to broach. I know what I spent and I am also entirely aware it is worth no where near that!
I'm not sure if this is something others find hard to guestimate (A standard car is somewhat easier) I appreciate this may seem like a rather long winded I want to sell my car, what should I put it up for type thread but it is not. I don't plan on selling! I am genuinely at a loss (I feel the figure in my head is maybe too high!)
The spec of my car is:
1991 1600 Eunos roadster in BRG
80,000miles
Imported in 2000 kept by an elderly gentleman in the garage
Rot free shell, no welding carried out.
HSD Monopros with around 700miles on/
E30 Tailgate McNoIndicate BBS RZs 15x7 with good federal 595RS-Rs on all 4 corners

All work done by myself to a good standard, I have been playing with cars for a long time here and there along with being fairly OCD/pedantic!
I have everything to put it back to standard including
Factory bilsteins, entire AC install and all trim and engine parts.
Only permanent thing is the rear bumper cut across the rear on a small scale!
I do not know if anyone else has a similar question, or perhaps wants some wheels valued or something (not entirely sure if this is in the correct section!) thought it might be good to keep it in one place?
