Is it advisable? If so what do people use?
I've got to strip a front brake caliper and would rather not just let all the fluid out.

That's what I thought. Ah well I wanted to swap out the brake fluid in the not too distant any ways. Cheers for the confirmation!

When I stripped my sticking calliper down I just found a nut and bolt with the same dia as the banjo, put that through the end of the line using the two copper washers, wasn't perfect but slowed it right down to a slow drip.

Good call I might just use that one! I will do the fluid soon but could do without having to do it this weekend.
