Myself and a few friends (mostly mx5s) have a test day booked at Curborough next Wednesday (25/5). We're limiting it to max 12 people (currently 9 booked) so there will be plenty of track time and the hire cost split equally so £55-60 for the day. If anyone fancies joining us please pm me asap for further details. (Note that this is a test day and not an organised track day so no marshals, medics etc)

Sounds good. I can't make next week but would be interested in a future event like this.

I'll be sure to post up as and when we do it again. Perhaps a future mighty5s event...

I would have been well up for that as it's not far and I get Wednesdays off normally, just failed the MOT however so may not be ready now.

In all seriousness, hope it's nothing terminal! See how you're getting on and if you're sorted in time let me know, we may still be able to squeeze you in

It failed on emissions but the fella reckoned the lack of carbon fail probably means the engine is not burning as much oil as I feared. I ordered a replacement cat but then found that the exhaust is goosed too. Now I need to figure out which exhausts will fit the longer cat I ordered to replace the short cat + scaffpole combopipe and wishing I had just ordered a short cat for better availability of shiny things...
