Ok, so I have had some oil leaking woes of late. Dripping lots everywhere I park and it's been collecting on the undertray.
I whipped off the rocker box and the upper timing belt cover this evening, and the cover was coated with oil inside - and I could see where it had been leaking from the rocker box (yes, after I had a rushed job one afternoon fixing the timing that someone else cocked up I didn't seal it up properly! ).
The oil was all over the place so it had definitely been leaking out of there, so I cleaned it all up as best I could and have run the car since to the shops and back and that area is clean, which is a start.
BUT, there has still been some SMALL drops on the undertray, parked up at the shops and maybe half an hour later it's leaked a drop or two maybe.
So I'm assuming main crank seal, or could it be some residual oil still running down from the mess that was up the top?
I guess I'll just have to keep an eye on it for a while and see if it goes away now I've fixed a leak... and if it is the crank seal any tips on removal/refitting?
Ta in advance.

Dunno about you but i am fed up of oil leaking. All the rubber will be changed for new oem ones. Either that or buy a litre of oil every other month and a bottle of k seal..

Not too difficult to do. I used a paint can opener to get the old seals out, works like a charm.
If you're on the south coast I can give you a hand if you've never done it before.
