Anyone out there know if the cloth seats are any good for the Mk3 when compared to the leather.
Problem is I get all hot and sticky with leather seats ... its not pretty
I know id lose the heatedness (not an issue for me) but are there any other downsides? Looks like there are NC and NC2 ones on ebay for 230-270
Additionally, anyone know how much the leather ones'd be worth (though id probably keep them for next owner)

Can't see any downside myself, if you feel you'll be more comfortable with them then go for it. If that's the going rate for a good condition set, then leather versions probably in the region of 300-350.
NC and NC2 seats do have different cushion designs and stitching so personal preference over which to get.

Any idea if they are comfy? I realise its personal preference but I doubt I'll get much chance to try them out.

Can't really say as I've only sat on the leather ones. Meets are good for this sort of thing

Cloth were very comfy but after 17k and lots of competing on rough grounds, plus the fact I am 145kgs they have broken a little , but zero movement when sat in them, no slidy slidy on track and you breathe on them, I've done 100s of miles in a day, no problem with them until they surrendered.

Take out your passenger seat, bolt in the new passenger seat and sit the new driver's seat on top of it and do the belt up?

All the seats I'm looking at are listed as having no airbags. Did the cloth seats not have airbags or have these ones been removed somehow?
Will it cause warning lights etc. to become a problem in my car (especially for the MOT).

My cloth seats have a label on saying it has airbags, I had heard that they didn't come with airbags, one of the reasons I went for the model I did, making it a bit of a pain when I realized some time after buying they were there I'll be looking to remove them over the winter for sports seats and you can often get little dongles to simulate airbag and pressure switch, not got to that yet.
