So I've been into model car racing all my life really, exclusively electric off road buggies until recently when I 'retired' due to family commitments, but have just recently started some touring car club racing at the excellent MB Model facilities just outside Leeds.
It is coincidence that it is both orange as per the trackday warrior and also coincidence that it's a Mazda 6 bodyshell as this is generally considered to be the best handling bodyshell. Anyway as you can see its all carbon fibre, aluminium, a bit of titanium, brushless motor, Lipo battery etc etc. If anyone is interested i can go into a bit more detail, needless to say on an indoor track it's plenty fast enough and in fact the reason it is orange is so I can see it at full pelt
