The gf and I just downloaded it and went for a walk to catch some Pokemon... Found places in the local area we didn't know existed!

It's pretty fun but i think the novelty will wear off quick. Kinda bored with it now as nothing to do, can't fight anyone as only level 3.

Yeah, I can see the novelty wearing off quickly. But it's quite fun, it's not a quick pick up your phone kinda game, you kinda have to set time to do it!

Same, i downloaded it in work out of curiosity after hearing lots of stories on the net about how popular it's become.
If you see people walking around aimlessly waving their phone about, they're probably playing this.
Be great if you had a paper round or were a postie haha

hopefully its just the original bunch. i had a shiny dark charizard at one point.. i could name them all and impersonate their jumapelles. i was a cool kid.

I went out last night with the dog and my littleun in the hope of her finding one on the estate...
not one in my entire village! I got to some green leaves appearing about 1/2 ile from my house and there was nothing there. I must be doing something wrong...

Haha, I dropped my gf off for a facial in the local town, and wasn't worth me going home and back again, so went for a wander for some pokemon. I managed to get a whole bunch of pokeballs, and not one pokemon.
We then went out after that and managed to grab a fair few. It's hard to know how to play it at first!

I tried that and nothing! But then got a load of them when a lure was set near my local pokegym.
I just bought a 13000mAh external battery as my battery already dies fairly quickly, but yesterday was a bit worse. 5-6 charges from one pack!

I've spent about a tenner in diesel driving my 10 year old son around town in order to claim gyms! Quite funny last night as a group of teenagers were sat outside the local Salvation Army Church - wondering who was taking control of their gym every few mins (we were parked a few cars away!)

You dropped your girlfriend off for a facial?  I've got the game. It's fun. Not going to waste time wandering around to play it though, but it will be a useful distraction when I get dragged to primarni on Sundays, and for whenever I'm walking anywhere like to the pub. The pub that conveniently has a Gym and two pokestops next to it. No. Not going to play it at all. |

i've really got into it...but not gone around hunting stuff out. if something appears while i'm walking - all good. if not, i'm not wandering around in circles trying to track something down!
even managed to take over a gym earlier for all of 30 mins

I went walking round Kingston at lunch and managed to spot another nerd with the same tattoo as me, he may have also been playing Pokemon
