Lesson to be learned in being slow as **** in rebuilding your 5. You forget how it goes back together!
Looking at my subframe from underneath - you can clearly see the long bolts that the diff carrier mates up to.... but what goes on these small flanges with the 2 bolts that are welded into place?
For the life of me.. I can't remember. It'll make sense when it goes back together probably - but on one side, the bolts sheared. I'm going to have to grind them off and replace.
Any one know the answer?... or have a car in the air that they can look at and photograph for me?
