I'm quite tempted, If he's willing to sell it without the MS2, even so, this is something I could sell.

For a trader, it doesn't sound like a TOO bad a deal with the cams already in place? I could swap most of my ancillaries over and seeing as my Tanabe manifold is for either 1600/1800 mk1 engines should go straight on.

I would like to keep mine a 1600 but with an Me221, set of gsxr750 bodies this would surely be a tasty little motor, to possibly build on further?

It's a lot of money but it would cost you more for the Cams, ECU and mapping if you did it yourself.

I thought the blocks were different lengths/port spacing. Sounds a lot for a fairly stock engine bar the cams, especially if you don't use the ecu.

Google Tanabe limit AX

The flange has the stud spacing for both the 1600/1800 head so it will fit onto both.

It came off an 1800 and has gone onto my 1600.

Hence why I had a NIGHTMARE getting a decat to fit, ended up making one up from a mongoose 440mm item. My decat is circa 500mm long.

that's the thought behind it! I can't seem to find cams for the 1600 engine anywhere only a few places for the 1800 and having bought cams for my peugeots in the past I know even they have been 350-400 quid for a set.

I'll message skuzzle and see what he has to say. I wouldn't pay a grand for it but it's been up a while i'm sure there is some negotiating to be done, I'd happily leave the megasquirt anyway as i'm looking to run the me221
