Give Skuzzle a buzz and see if he remembers the build and whether it's a good buy or not. It's a lot of money but it would cost you more for the Cams, ECU and mapping if you did it yourself.

Out of interest how is your manifold for 1600 or 1800? I thought the blocks were different lengths/port spacing. Sounds a lot for a fairly stock engine bar the cams, especially if you don't use the ecu.

It came off an 1800 and has gone onto my 1600. Hence why I had a NIGHTMARE getting a decat to fit, ended up making one up from a mongoose 440mm item. My decat is circa 500mm long.

I can't seem to find cams for the 1600 engine anywhere only a few places for the 1800 and having bought cams for my peugeots in the past I know even they have been 350-400 quid for a set. I'll message skuzzle and see what he has to say. I wouldn't pay a grand for it but it's been up a while i'm sure there is some negotiating to be done, I'd happily leave the megasquirt anyway as i'm looking to run the me221

It's not a bad price all things considered.
