I've just had the Skuzzle induction system fitted on my 2006 NC Sport and already I can feel the difference. Better response mid range and it sounds lovely however the guys who fitted it said they couldn't replace the bottom protection panel as the filter impeded it. Is this the norm or have they done something wrong?

Nicks on holiday at the moment but I'll point him in the direction of this when I next speak to him. From memory everything apart from the airbox should go back on.

Today Nick at Skuzzle sorted out my BBR 200 NC. I discovered after the dyno day we had there in May that my output at the wheels was barely over 140 bhp at the wheels so nothing like the figure BBR claimed. Any way I had fitted the Skuzzle intake and that raised the figure by over 6 bhp and then Nick went to work finding a total increase of 23 bhp and about 25 ft/lbs of torque over the original. it goes somewhat better now. Nick has also talked me into a new sports cat and exhaust. Well it didn't take much convincing( Nick:do you want the new exhaust and sports cat? Me: yes please guv )so that's next up on the agenda. Below are the comparative figures and hopefully more to come when the new cat and exhaust are fitted.

Nice one Toby. That's a bit closer to 200bhp now decent lump of extra torque low down too. Was the extra 17whp just down to Nick's magic tuning? I know dyno's differ but to be that different seems to suggest BBR are missing a few tricks.

I know dyno's differ but to be that different seems to suggest BBR are missing a few tricks. Well Nick pointed out that they only did 3 attempts at remapping. He did a total of 38! Interesting he had another BBR 200 NC recently and that one was more or less bang on what they claimed so no idea why mine was so far off. When I drove it straight after they converted it didn't feel like close on 200 bhp. It does now

I remember how disappointed you were when you first had it RRd at nicks. Good to see t now making healthy power.

Doesn't seem much for cams, mine did just under 160 when Skuzzle mapped it with just manifold and drop in K&N, expected a bit more from cams, on this seems to have hit peak power quite early, I would of thought cams would of opened up the torque up top a lot more, it does look like on the original map there was some benefit to hanging on a bit longer.
