I'd like the angle of behind the driver but I don't have a cage yet to attach it to. My plan was to stick the mount next to the soft top front handle and hope I can get it high enough to see out when the roof is down, or out the front window when the roof is up.
Where have you put yours? Anyone have pics of the actual mount attachment rather than pics from the camera attached to the mount?

Lunchtime didn't go smoothly at all.
Putting the mount next to the roof handle gave me 2 problems. With the roof up, the mount was upside down, so to get to the camera I had to use about 5 or 6 extensions, which made it droop over bumps. With the roof down the mount was too low to see anything more than sky out of the windscreen.
Also tried a clip on mount to the roof rails but it wasnt secure enough, and upside down again.
Next try will be to mount a selfie stick onto the roof down mount to raise it up, but I don't have an attachment to join the mount to the base so will have to make one and try again, otherwise it'll be a screen sucker.

I have a rear cage so use that. Options are limited unless you have a rear cabin brace.

I've put mine in the mouth of the bumper to good effect My profile pic is a still from a GoPro mounted on my roll bar. There's a vid on my insta of the bumper mount (@moca2cv) and I'll try to upload one here... Basically just a tripod mount and a bunch of washers mounted through one of the holes in the bumper reinforcement bar. Edit: here we go, a couple of vids when it was mounted to a car but I don't know whose.

Manfrotto super clamp on a folded down oem windblocker works pretty well.

I've stuck mine to the windowscreen, being a UK Mk2 there's also the interior light which I've demolished and used as a live feed for the charger. Works a treat.
