Soo, a bit of background. Last year we went to my partners family home in Taden, Brittany. After a few days of being driven around, I decided, next year, we're going in my car! This also being the first time I've driven on the wrong side of the road. So when we decided dates, we booked onto Brittany Ferries from Portsmouth to St Malo. Expensive overnight cabin journey with the car down below. I totally didn't get all the way up to the cabin and realise I needed to take things from the car... Here's my tale in pictures! Might want to think twice before going on this ferry if you're lowered. Though, it looked a lot steeper in the car lol I made lots of noise going up thought   This was my car park for the week!   |

I've done a couple of euro jaunts in a 5. It's great fun and you don't get many on mainland Europe so you get loads of attention.

I got SO much attention it was ridiculous.
The standard of driving was so much better out there, within 10 minutes of being back in the UK I'd already had 2 idiots almost hit me!

I'm in the Tarn region at the moment and sooo wish I was in the 5 rather than this...  The roads here are great, loads of flowing bends and smooth tarmac. |

Love taking an mx over to the continent
Did a 9 day mega trip 3 years ago with a great crowd of people, went to Belgium last year and we're back off to Belgium again in October probably. I can highly recommend Switzerland.
For what it's worth, you can get the Eurotunnel very cheap if you book early/late.

There are talks about getting a man road trip to Belgium or something soon We went to Wales last year, but I didn't take my car, as it was making funny noises. So. the next day I went to Mont Saint-Michel. Which is bloody awesome!  Looks like it belongs in Middle Earth! Just a rock, that's been built upon. This day was 30 degrees once we got here, and it was 36 on the way back. Had to have the roof up as it was too hot! Did see a cool 2CV Van in the car park too  Stopped off for some pics elsewhere too.  Taden town marker.  the local field...   Went down to the local lake  Went on a boat further down the lake/river. Had a great shot coming... while on the boat. and great timing tourists!  Then I went really fast to get the ferry home!  |

Awesome! I did a trip to Belgium recently in the 5 and loved ever minute. I'll get some pics up when I finally download them off my camera

Totally forgot, I also ended up jump starting Annes brothers Tailgate McNoIndicate. We overlapped a couple of days and when he was leaving his battery died!
Didn't occur to take a picture either! Eegit!

awesome fotos, Dween. Done a couple of trips in the Eunos over the last few years. Last year, Colmar, Konstance, Neauschwannstein, Stelvio, Pisa, Monaco and St Trollops......Stickered up and noisy pipe drew so much attention on Casino Square that the herd of Prancing Horses were getting the pox  . Back from St Tropez to Calais in a day, 750 miles in just the nine hours.....superb. recommend the Black forest, Switzerland and Austria to anyone in a 5, and if your in the French Alps, the Gorges du Verdon with a loud 'zaust bouncing off the mountains is pure bliss. Spoke to a guy in a 5 at the ferryport who had driven up from Portugal, "kept it at 70 all the way" as he didnt want to stress the car. told him i was at a constant 6-7000 revs all the way "cruising between 90 and 100 for nine hours, Eunos loved it  |
