bought (ebay) a aslightly better looking bootlid in the correct Silver with a low-level spoiler (believed to be oem?) and fitted it... jury is still out on if the spoiler is staying though also, enquired about a 'G' reg Eunos..................... and worked on my mrs's Landrover Ninety, was bought last week (sunday) as a non-runner & trailered back 250 miles, cambelt replaced (luckily no bent valves etc.) & now new clutch master cylinder fitted so have driven it around my backyard Rich. (must have too many cars now...)

I fitted a new heatsheild for the back box and fitted the plastic wheel arch liners at the rear. I changed the oil gauge face to one that reads pressure in anticipation of the bits from Moss arriving. I actually gave my Wife a clue as to what I had been doing to the car. ( But no mention of money !!!! ) She is looking forward to the expected 170 BHP ITBs to be unleased. I will have to teach her to drive it as she is used to a Diesel Slug. ( She hardley ever goes over 4000 Rpm in the car in my Avatar )

(Saturday) Finally got around to fitting the HKS Super-Drager exhaust I've had sat around for months. MOT'd the 5 also - Failed on headlight beam pattern (Due to my change of headlamps) - Tester adjusted the beam and passed it straight after. Here's to the next 12 months

Went for a drive. No particular place to go, just went to country roads. 1/4 tank of fuel gone, but a fun couple of hours!
Had a fun blast following a Tvr chimera, and the little old mx5 kept up amazingly well. The new rodders pads fill me with much more confidence in stopping too!

Yesterday I bought a pair of Wilwood Powerlite calipers that had been on a kitcar, probably easier to have bought new as opposed to adapting but it's sorta more fun to have 'Built not bought' also, they are for a solid disc so I'm going to make spacers to widen the caliper.... no rest for the idiots NEXT... Rich.

Spent an hour in the garage fitting some small parts I've accumulated: fog and reverse bulbs replaced with LED's, flocked speedo cowl fitted, Jass handles re-tightened.
Considering putting the hardtop on since summer is pretty much over, sourcing panels for imminent sill repairs.
I really want to tint the hardtop glass before I fit it.

G reg Eunos, garaged last 6 years (was garaged to have waterpump replaced & never finished!), 120,000km, mostly white (where the paint has not fallen off...), front foglights and a black hardtop.... AND never welded for less ££'s than the (rediculously overpriced) hardtop could sell for been to see it tonight, had a good chat with the seller, hoping to collect this week Rich.

Ooh, and not in the 5, but I have been feeling grateful for the stern but very reasonable unmarked police car driver who gave me a telling off but ultimately let me off for a speed with three figures...

eventually removed an old alarm & repaired the cars wiring (my 'new' G reg Eunos) then found enough correct bolts to re-assemble enough of the engine to allow a trial-start as I bought it part stripped.................... it runs need to sort the clutch hydraulics & brakes before it can be taken for a drive (obviously on private roads ) Rich.

I have just fitted a Track Dog racing oil pressure sender. I have also bought an early instrument cluster to change the oil gauge out and fit the 140 MPH speedo into the Eunos Project. Its still pidgeon toe'd from fitting the extended bottom ball joints. Next job is DIY tracking and a basic camber and caster set up.
