In other news booked onto a 30 min track session this sunday on the Silverstone North circuit and the 9am session at Spring Action Day. Probably ought to get a wriggle on and fit those coilovers.

Looking very good - I am especially liking the spoiler.
Have you thought about detangoing the headlights? I can see it might go either way as it (sort of) links to the interior colour, but I did find it made the front end look cleaner when I did mine...
Although those pictures also make me realise that I really need to give mine a good clean and spruce up!

I was never a fan of the looks until a couple of years of ago when they suddenly grew on me. Only the pre facelift ones though. Still not a huge fan of the 3.5 and 3.75 front ends. Too much big smiley mouth going on for me. I think the MK3 is rapidly coming of age in the modding scene. It's a really great car ruined by it's standard suspension set up. Once that's sorted they're equally a match for the early cars in terms fun driving experience. If you ever are tempted get a ride in a lowered one with RX8 ARBs. It's how the MK3 should have been from factory. |

 You gotta love the MX5 scene. Long time ago post I know, but I don't suppose our Supreme Leader (or anyone else for that matter) would know where a build thread for the Mk1 in this photo is? I love how mental it looks, and the little touches like the wing mirrors are just beautiful. Also liking how the Mk3 is looking at the moment Horney! |
