Unlucky. My partner is back today as well. I consider myself quote fortunate that the company I work for closes between Christmas and New Year, and the days off are given to us in addition to our annual allowance.

Most of my company is off as well with only tech support staff in, I have to cover for the senior management team. One of the down sides of working for a business critical systems provider.

I'm here, first day back. only 1/2 staff too so it's quiet but busy if you know what I mean, not enough work for full staff but busy because of no staff.
I'd rather be here than book holiday though, only because I d rather have my holiday when the days are longer and the sun is out to make the best of them, rather than sit in front of the telly because its too cold to do anything else.

Depends how much is going on. Last few weeks before xmas were painful as we had no site activities then all of October was painful as i dodnt seem to do anything except work

You lot are gonna hate me.... I'm not back until Monday Jan 9th. Our site is shut between Christmas and New Year, so get given holiday. Would have been back on the 3rd, but booked 4 days off. Not got a clue what I'm going to do mind.
