Hi,
it's a while off before I get on the road but was wondering if there is an insurance company that take non standard cars.
My current insurer will not.
Thanks

good luck fella, i decided to do the right thing last year and declare my mods to my insurer, they refused. i lost a years no claims because i had to cancel my policy with them.. no one any where would insure me after that, i searched all the internet for days, eventually someone insured me but i was canoe probed and ended up paying 131 pound a month!!
This year i cant wait to give the 2 fingers to my current insurers and save 700 pound a year somewhere else!!
Canoeing Canoe Canoe barstards they are.
Green light i have enquired about insurance but they have not come back to me, doubt they will. Canoe em.

Message them on Nutz, or give them a ring. I've never had a problem getting in touch.

It's always better to call these specialists I find. In the past I've insured my fast cars with: Adrian Flux Footman James Admiral Performance Direct Herts insurance co (now flux) Greenlight
In addition to those mentioned above there is also A Plan.

Footman James were cheapest for me by a country mile. Few criteria to meet though for them to insure you.

Horney, would it be worth having an FAQ section, or perhaps a 'how to' on insurance, or a sticky, so people can see which insurance companies insure 5s and their respective mods, keep notes on their claims handling, changes in policies, minimum ages, experience requirements, best way to contact, and maybe a rating system? If it could be updateable by everyone then one person doesn't have to do all the work. That way we'll have a current list of who's worth calling and who isn't.
