No worries, both really good stuff! That's what I did yeah, they said to do 2 coats of Hydrate80 painted at a 90 degree angle to the first, but mine didn't really need it to be honest so just did 1. It also said to leave it 24 hours but ain't nobody got time for that. I think it's both yeah, it says it is a waxy layer, though it feels to have dried quite nicely to the touch unlike some other underseals. Either way it's so easy to apply, not the cheapest cans ever, but literally no mess, just masked and sprayed on after cleaning the area and didn't have one drip, and I laid it down thick as well. Just don't get it on your hands, total bitch to get off haha. My boot floor is pretty much a sheet of rust lol, so I will have to do plenty of coats!! I assume one can just spraypaint over the Hydrate 80 and then Dinitrol over the top of that if required? Would it be weird to spray the whole car in Dinitrol? LOL Thanks for the advice! Yeah I really need to pull the carpet back and see how mine is, I know there's a bit of rust in there. I keep everything in my boot though, tools, belts, sprays, random bolts, it's a mess to clear out haha. To be honest I'd be more inclined to spray Dinitrol over Hydrate80, which basically disappears after half hour anyway, then spray paint on top of that if you wanted. Haha a mate actually said that to me yesterday, just do whole car, perfectly rustproofed!

So kind of a sad update. Car is now parked up to be stripped back to semi standard, big wheels are off and some daisies put on. IMG_20181020_141731_1After having 3 5s I fancied trying something new. Toyed with the idea of a few different cars, but just fancied a saloon. After looking at various old school saloons I changed direction slightly, and ended up deciding on an IS200. I've already heard the repmobile jokes, but feel free to add to them! I think it could be a cool car if I build it up a bit, and managed to get one for £750. 6 speed manual, 2 litre inline 6, all the extras known to man, and they work. Only thing it's missing is an LSD, maybe it'll be welder time? Anyway I'll still be knocking about all the 5 pages of course. My mk1 is being sold to a friend who will be using it as a daily while he works on making his other mk1 a bit tidier. Speeduino, TPS, IAT and all that will be sold as one lot, if anyone is interested, 1.6 mk1 pnp model. Also big wheels will be available, 1,000 miles on them from new. I guess that's it for this thread! This is so sad, Alexa play Eurobeat.

Sad to see it go! IS200 is a nice motor, though - typically reliable but parts can be expensive. Also eat tyres IIRC unless the tracking has been fixed to non-Lexus recommendations, although I have no idea where I've read that now, but it is online somewhere! Thirsty as well, 25mpg perhaps? And perhaps some winter tyres might be advisable if it snows like last year... lol Should be a nice ride, good to have something that just works

Yeah man, plenty about though so used parts market looks pretty decent! Ah cheers for heads up, will get tracking done after I get it at some point. Yeah pretty thirsty, but 5 was getting 22-23mpg lifted so I'm used to it now haha. Also it has pretty fresh winter tyres on it already, which is nice. Will be very different to what I've had, some toys will be fun, and A/C works which will be nice in the summer. A couple of mates already sending me photos of them on BN Sports drift kit, does look quality with the right wheels. First thing has to be an exhaust though, these things sound mad with the right exhaust on!

Lovely, thanks for the info mate. Yeah that definitely looks like minutes, just looked it up and 60 minutes = 1 degree which makes sense to me. Definitely not 55 degrees on the rear that's for sure 😂 I'll jack it up and take a look, see what the bolts are looking like. If they're bad I will replace, but if the rest of it is anything to go by they should be in ok condition.
