Bit of a wobble recently, slave cylinder let go (or so I thought), spent a day at XDR getting that fixed only to find it was the master cylinder, got that replaced and the car was back up and running after me nearly having to abandon it in busy traffic! I got some bad thoughts and started looking at big Nissans again, I even put the little Five up for sale! loads of interest, but when it came to the crunch I just couldn't let it go. Withdrew the ads and got back in the garage. Eunos lump emptied of fluids, sooooo many measurements taken, sooo many parts ordered and then next week we're hoping to pull the engine from the car and get the downpipe fabbed up and ECU plugged in. Hopefully things will start to pick up now     [/url |

Did see the for sale post and wondered what was going on, gad you decided to keep it and finish it.
Don't think I've met/heard anyone say they are glad they sold their 5!

I just get bored easily, think I have ADHD when it comes to cars haha, I tend to change every year. I think ultimately I won't be 100% happy until I have a Skyline but we'll see how the turbo five goes haha

I think ultimately I won't be 100% happy until I have a Skyline but we'll see how the turbo five goes haha I would say drive the car you think you want, that whole thing about meeting your hero's etc. Thought I wanted something fast and practical, but what I really wanted was something involving to drive, keep the 5 finish it and enjoy it then have a re-think  Going fast in a straight line is boring! |

I've driven a couple of Skylines, a monster R32 and a more sedate R33 and I just really like them. I do like the Mazda as I can do whatever with it and not really have to worry as it's cheap and cheerful. I'm just impatient and want the turbo done and dusted, but time and space are not on my side sadly. I'll get there.

Since it's payday and winter is coming, I thought I'd buy myself that will actually be useful and also hilarious. Behold the portable star!!! I plan to mount it nice and high in the bumper "mouth" so it doesn't look like Richard Hammond's teeth. Since my headlights are properly pants, this should help no end!

Also not car related as such, but will certainly mainly be pointing in the direction of some metal and rubber, I bought myself a new toy while the car will inevitably off the road over the winter. I kinda always wanted a semi-decent camera, I hate relying on iPhone pictures while at car shows and events. This is a Fujifilm Finepix S9600 bridge camera. Seems perfect for me as it's not a pocket digital camera but it's also not quite a full blown DSLR. Basically a point-and-shoot with some extra settings that should produce some nice looking pictures and didn't even nearly break the bank. A very reasonable £70 secondhand! Really pleased! I'll be calling on a bunch of you as test subjects as and when I get my eye in  |

Yeah! Haha! It's not my cup of tea in that colour but it's a smart car overall. Will look better when the owner fits his coilovers and spacers!
