for the sake of better airflow to the IC I'd have mounted that on the flat area of the bumper just above the mouth. but hey ho :-)
I kinda like the holes tho!

Yeah I didn't want it jutting out the front really, hence why it's right in the bumper mouth. I've read of people doing the same and not suffering but figured I'd add the extra vents too. Pleased with the way it's turned out. Although now I really want my bumper smoothed, the above is some editing bamboozlery.

Long time no update! A fair amount has happened in the 4 or so months I lost radio contact with the Forum. You know how it is, life gets in the way of fun things and it has been a pretty turbulent (turboulent?) few months. ANYWAYS! I shall update with pictures and info later this evening  And yes, I did come close a couple of times, to letting the car go. But it's staying, for now.... |

Here we go then, just a handful of pictures I got at the tail end of last year.  New engine being built up. TD04, braided oil and water lines and a tasty cast kraken maifold!  Custom downpipe  Custom exhaust (it's waaaay too loud at the moment so I do need a proper silencer)  Engine getting ready to go in!  Old engine out and in the bin! Pretty sure it was shagged anyways, despite pulling some pretty decent figures on the rollers last year!  The tallest mechanic... in the world  Skipping the manhandling of the engine, and he's in! Along with mocked up intercooler   Getting the old ECU out was actually one of the harder bits, the bolts were all rusted on pretty well!  Behold! All in and running! Ignore the template slam cover thingy.  I also recovered my door cards and added a green tow strap which matches my Takata nicely.   |

Next up is to do some tidying up such as polishing the IC pipes, touching up the the paint here and there, but most importantly get the damn thing mapped when I can afford to. It's about £400 all in to get the MSPNP mapped at Skuzzle which I was hoping to get done ASAP, but then I was made redundant, AGAIN! lol so if anyone fancies giving to a good cause... lol so yes, hopefully get the car booked in over the next month or so and get back on track and ready for the 2018 show season!
Bilbo has done a bad thing and mentioned that the colour is aching for a Rizla theme but we shall see...
