Haha, that exhaust it came with, SUCH BOSO.
From what I remember, if you want to paste a post from elsewhere, you can do it by opening the edit mode on the post you want, and copying that. It seems to keep the HTML intact for the image links, at least it did for me anyway.

I do quite like it. I've always liked those Lamborghini style shift boot covers, you know the metal ones with the cut-outs for the gear lever? Looks like it'd be a ballache to actually change gear though.

Ah that's a good idea, I'll give it a go shortly. Rude haha The Greddy one? I love it! Had it for yeeeeears, been taking it from car to car with me, it's graced all of my S14's and now my Mazda.

So I tried to update this properly yesterday and then it crashed and I lost everything, so I went to the pub instead. I'll just continue on from my Nutz post, if you want to see what a state it was when I got it, click away at the link in the first post. So we had the RR day at Skuzzle and the little mk1 performed very well indeed, the thing hasn't even had a service in god knows how long and it still pulled 127.8 at the wheels and 156 or so at the fly, dead impressed! If you went, you'll remember my mate's B2000. A mighty 59.9 at the rear wheels! Not to worry, it'll have a 400bhp SR20DET in a week or so. We had a burger and a sausage courtesy of Horney (cheers lad), we saw some ace cars, had a chat with a few folk, got cold and decided to head home. And then this happened... The B2000 decided it didn't like having a coil and spat it out. Fortunately we were nearly home anyways. So today I decided since the weather wasn't totally abysmal, I'd fit my harness. Some will moan that the cabin brace is not supposed to take any lateral force but honestly, it'll do until I can get a proper rear cage and harness bar. Picked up a sticker on the RR day too, representing! Also a bonus petrol station shot from yesterday, because why not? And a quick snap from Skuzzle. I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked, I'll try harder next time.

So today was fun! My ducktail turned up and went on no bother, great fit and only £40! Since the weather's nice here, I thought I'd see how my rear overfenders fit. These are the Fire Fly ones, they're very thin and the fit was not great, bit of trimming here and there, neither side is the same nor does anything really line up but, they'll cure my rusty rear arches... The other side was much the same, cutting etc. Also if you're wondering about the colours, I was trying to decide what colour I wanted the whole car and I've decided on.... still red. The whole thing will be getting painted when it's warmer, for now I'm rocking the harlequin look. I'm not happy about it either but I have no more paint...

Haha proper Frankenstein at the moment.
So how have you done the overfenders? Have you cut the original arch lip out completely? I was under the impression the original outer arch needed to be welded to the inner arch skin or it would be an MOT fail?

I was under the impression the original outer arch needed to be welded to the inner arch skin or it would be an MOT fail? It really is haha! I'll get it all sorted for the summer, it does the job at the moment. For the now, I have cut both skins as you can see it's literally been beaten up flat against the inner skin out the way and given a coat of under-seal. It gives about an extra 1.5" of clearance and will do until I can get it in the garage and welded properly. Don't think it will be an MOT failure as it stands but it's better to do it properly.

How did I forget exciting parts update!? My manifold, downpipe flange, fittings and all other sorts of gubbins turned up the other day, so excited! ALso I was only expecting a manifold and downpipe flange but Michael, (the chap behind Kraken) sent me a load of other bits to, so massive shout out and thank you to him! Need to get a downpipe fabbed up and then mock up the FMIC piping but then I'm pretty close to having FI power. I've opted to go for (and bought), an AFPR and MBC to start with until I can afford a standalone ECU, this will at least have everything up and running, then it's just a case of plugging in the ECU and getting it mapped. Should be good for about 170bhp with standard management and then I'm looking for anywhere north of 220bhp with proper management. If I can get 240bhp safely with the 540cc injectors and TD04 then that would be ace! We'll see...
