I have a cobalt exhaust on my mk1 Eunos and I absolutely adore it. I believe they are on sale now at moss but that may have ended. The noise is pretty spectacular as its not brutally loud but the sound is pretty amazing imsure anyone that has ever followed me will agree.

I was always after a cobalt exhaust for my last mk1 until a racing beat came up second hand and cheap. I may go for a cobalt this time.
So much for me not modding....

I've just got the rear and I think it's still settling in - less than 100 miles through it so it needs to mature.

I've got one with a decat and it's fairly loud. Was about 95db at Brands hatch last year .Pretty sure it's gotten louder the past month though

I vote Cobalt too. Had mine since 2013 and it gets better sounding all the time. I take every opportunity to promote the Cobalt.

I've got their manifold and twin exit backbox. Nicely made stuff. I went for GoodWin racing for the midpipe. Purely because mine is a Mk 2.5 with the cat as part of the exhaust manifold and the GoodWin pipe has an integral cat (so gets round losing the standard one when replacing the exhaust manifold). I'm very pleased with the sound (sporty but not too noisy).
A propos of nothing in particular, I've also got a Cobalt three point front strut brace and 2 point rear one. Also well-made.

I've had mine for about 2 years, sounds great, especially with a decat. Always drop a couple of gears when going through tunnels!
Sounds nice and loud, but doesn't cause me any trouble at trackdays.

Hmmm, I'm slightly underwhelmed by mine. Sure it sounds sporty enough, but it's not exactly 'look at me' noise. I'm supercharged, which I thought was meant to make for a louder zorst noise too....
Not sure if maybe my silenced decat is holding me back?

Not sure which one to go for. I had a racing beat on my old car. It sounded ok but sometimes felt it sounded a bit farty... Cobalt a look well made but I've not heard one in action.
how do they co pare eith the 5 parts exhausts? For me the 5 parts is far too boomy and loud.

I have a Larini on the supercharged car, best sounding exhaust for the MX5 by far. Shame they don't make them anymore.

I love them also. I've owned my blue mk1 for a few months now but feel really outta touch with the mk1 stuff after owning a mk3 and a couple of other cars between. Things seem different these days.

Aren't the Larini exhausts something like £1m? lol
I have them on a similar level to Akropovic in my head but I might be getting confused!
