most likely hsd dual tec, hurd good things about them and relativly inexpensive. (Temped to see what maxspeeding rods are like)

.wheels in a while i want to keep my eye out for some light weight track wheels (cheap as possible), whitch brings me to tyres, i will look for some relativly cheap track day tyres, such as the nankang ns2r.

.steering wheel, suppose keep it original and get a nice nardi or momo.

Even buying things cheap, a list that long soon adds up... lol

Definitely don't think about it - it's terrifying. And certainly never write it down

Don't forget chassis mods like framerails make a massive difference to handling.

I've got framerails to go with the roll bar. Nothing else other than OE bracing. Makes a big difference. Door bars would be amazing but getting in and out is important! I wouldn't bother with the rear strut brace, but the tunnel gusset mod would be on my list.

Factory shutdown this week and had a day of minamal acomplishment ahead whilst most of my friends are at work etc, so i thought i would give the 5 some "love".

So i went though the car today and removed all the sound deadening i could find. (Also i found an ear wig living under the carpet in my passenger footwell).

As my sparco sprint was out so sorted a little issue i had with the mx5 rails.

I want to get as much weight out the car without compromising the look of the car, i have been for a drive i didnt realy think it made much of a difference (noise wise) apart front i have removed the metal tow hooks and replaced with straps was thinking of ever bits i can remove around the car along with when needed getting a light weight battery.

I have also had the joy of informing the insurance man with all my modifications, resulting in cancling my policy and calling my local insurance broker to sort it for me, so i can say i am 100% insured. Tbh i am lookingforward to getting pulled over haha !!

Been a little while and i have realised I haven't done much to my car over the last few weeks (due to buying a stone island jumper) soo I have ordered a jass shift boot to sort my console delete out and I am de cating my car again after the mot, as I am hating having a quiet 5..

I have polished my car since so is nice and clean. Want to get a caramel wheel and de badge it for now until i get around to painting it. 

Also parts have started anoying me which is probity the reason I have left it alone for a while I think I need to change the steering wheel, for now I may put the standerd one back on, think it's to low and ebay coil overs stopping me enjoying my car to the full so I was going to sort out the ride quality with some new suspension, I was thinking of some fixed height suspension from koni or gaz or something like that anyway and get the sway bar and drop pins sorted in the process and getting a full geo set up done. 

Apart from that thinking of selling my rota bm8s but I don't no what I want was thinking something  light weight that I haven't got to worry about. 

My gv lip had broken so I will get the standerd r package lip when I have some spare money lieing around. 

So at the minute I just want to change a few bits to sort my car out properly so I can enjoy it properly again. 

Haha need more money and time lol !
