Ah mate I didn't realise you were in the S&H building. Tragic, I know a few people with businesses there. Such a shame about the tools, and the hours and hours of work you've done. I'll have a look through my tools (we have a unit up the road in Kingswood) and anything I have two of, you're welcome to have, to start you off again. Probably only a few sockets etc, but a start anyway.

Just thinking about the people who lost their livelihood as a result of that fire.... Many business' that have been running for a long time, there was one guy that we knew had been trading from there for 15+ years. It's devastating. Thank you all for your kinds words of support. Zed. . I like the thought of name haha! I was thinking of naming it something to do with "The one after" or "One more" in another language such as Japanese. Some sort of clever play on words. Horney It's enough to make everyone with a lock up worry, just make sure everything is insured. Ah mate I didn't realise you were in the S&H building. I'm absolutely gutted for you. If it does turn out to have been arson, let's hope the old bill get hold of the scrote(s) responsible. If there is anything you need in the way of tools, I have far too many, so just let me know. I'd also be more than happy to lend out some of the less basic stuff I have.

Managed to gather some photos. Someone has been up there and confirmed that everything is either burnt or crushed from steel and concrete. No word from insurance at the mo, still chasing. On a bright note, I'll be posting my new build thread for the replacement soon. Crumpets

Wow, thats horrible. But then, no loss of life? And thats the most important bit.
Now you have the opportunity to buy quality tools for the bits you use a lot. More so if insurance can get you anything. I guess that is a small positive, setting up the new shed with knowledge about what you want.

I know I probably come across all doom and gloom but i'm so happy that no-one was in our unit at the time. I've learnt so much working on that car over the years and this 5 was a series of first times doing particular jobs for me. What i haven't lost is the knowledge to do it again.
