Thanks guys, I do love the 13s, just a shame about tyre selection. Spent yesterday cleaning and striping down the bike bodies, decided to tap the old secondary throttle and injector holes are plug them using a bolt. Tapped all the holes, then couldn't get any bolts the right size for the injector holes so ended up using some metal putty stuff. Remarkably impressed with it, probably would've been easier to fill all the holes with it! Tomorrows job is to get them painted and reassembled, providing the weather isn't too awful.

The manifold currently still just exists as a CAD file, I've got the flange, just need to get some pipe to have a go mocking it up, still not 100% how I'm going to do. But, I did manage to get my trumpets printed, ended up with a 90mm mouth and a 90mm height, pretty happy with how they came out. Aerodynamically they're a better shape than some of the cheaper ones available, just hope the transition temp of the ABS is high enough, just hope I never get stuck in traffic on a hot day with a hot engine...

Awesome work on the trumpets. 3D printing is such an incredible invention.

I'm intrigued by your door trims. I hope you don't mind me asking: what did you trim them in, is it alcantara? Where did you get the orange door pull and what did you attach it to?
Nice car and great thread BTW.

Cheers Foxy, the material is some cheap alcantara I bought off eBay, can't remember how long a roll I bought. The door pulls are actually red, camera just shows it up funny. It's just some 1" (I think) webbing strap I got online and cut to length. It was cut into a strip, then sewed into a loop with a hole punched through one end, in the end I think I just bolted them on using one of the three bolts that holds the door handle in place. Hope that helps!

I've just ordered some red webbing and will look into the fabric too.

Long time, no update! Changed the wheels from the 13" Comps to some E30 BBS 15". Not as keen on how it looks, but wanted a change and new tyres. IMG-20170704-WA0003 by James Warren, on Flickr Finally fitted the P5 frame rails I bought a year ago. WP_20170725_16_38_10_Pro by James Warren, on Flickr Then bought a GCR1, a Schroth ASM harness and a JB seat mount. Had a fun two day rush in between working to get everything fitted ready for Retro Rides, but managed to get it all done and get the shed there in one piece, it even got its first wash in two months as well! Ordered an ally rad to replace my original (very brown) one, drained the system and got the old one out before the new one got delivered, it got here and had two right handed brackets on it! Half hour job ended up being a week before the replacement bracket arrived, made the test drive yesterday evening much more sweet though.

Not much to update other than making the most of driving it! Finally got round to buying a new diff though, got a decent price on a 4.3 TorSen, might have to wait for the weather to improve before I feel like lying under the car to fit it..
