Not doing very well at updating this, managed to get the 4.3 Torsen fitted along with some void fillers, certainly made the car more fun to drive, thought maybe not on a 3+ hour drive to an interview! Then went to the dyno day at Skuzzle's, seemed a bit smokey but happy with it having gained a little instead of losing anything! However hearing Atlexs car certainly made me want to finish the ITBs and finally having the money for the ECU I did the obvious thing and bought the MX5 a friend instead... I'll get round to creating a thread (that I'll probably also forget to update) for it soon!

I did try some of the most glorious sausage though (side note, what was the name of the chutney?). Was pretty happy with it, Nick said it felt responsive, just needs a bit more everywhere! Correct on both counts, it's a Lada 1200S, so a re-engineered Fiat 124 saloon with a few difference Wow, that's a Lada 2101. Getting quite rare even in eastern europe now. Yep! Specifically a 21013, I like slightly odd ball cars and had been wanting something older for a while, fitted the bill pretty well Getting rarer, it's actually a Hungarian import, in the process of registering it, according to How Many Left it'll be 1/11 on UK roads...

Wicked.
That chutney is "Mrs Balls Peach Chutney" - it's from south africa but you can probably find it in a big tescos if you look. or order online. goes so well on lamb.

Long time no post. Lots of ups and downs since then, but that's life, now at the other end of the country for work (for now) and a lot closer to a lot of you I think. Mazda wise not a lot of change, new clutch master and slave after I was left rev matching my way to work a few months ago. Love intermittent faults. Other than that a lot of motorway slogs to and from the south coast back to the midlands, slowly getting tinnitus... Back on the 13s again after someone pushed me towards a curb and I chunked one of the BBSs.
