Hi All
Quick question - I've been looking at options to improve the seats in my 1994 NA for a while now, but find most bucket seats seem to be too tight a fit given that I don't intend to strip out my interior. I have run across the above seats though, which look to be essentially Lotus seats. They seem to be much more slim line, but does anyone on here have any experience of them?
The second thing is attaching them to the car... I have found these brackets that adapt the Mazda runners:
but am concerned this will lift the seats higher than standard (where ideally a bit lower would be awesome). Does anyone have any experience of these at all? I have tried to contact the seller, but so far nothing.
Thanks

If your refering to the LE-Standard that have no harness holes then they are similar to the standard standard Exige S2 seats.... I found them rather unconfortable for long journeys, not terrible but not as nice as the standard mx1 seats due to the lack of cushioning also they don't really have much bolstering either so don't hold you in that much better, but its an improvement. If your talking about these ones however (LE-Pro Racing Seat)... The standard S2 Exige seats in the car were replaced by these before a track day weekend and I've done some distance in these, they are not that different from the standard ones but I didn't have a problem with these seats, they were perfectly fine for distance, and track days. Again, because the bolstering isn't too agressive they will suit a lot of people in comparison to something like a Bride seat (notoriously narrow/tight) or a Corbeau Pro-Series X which designed more for track/race cars . Also take a look at these, bolstering is better on these and it suggests these are also made for cars tight on space: www.corbeau-seats.com/product/le-driver-bucket-seat-lotus-elise-exige/For reference, I'm 6'1", 32" waist, large t-shirt and don't have a gut (which helps) and the standard Mk1 seats don't fit my shoulders well. In terms of getting the seat low, there are some fixed mounts designed to go low but if you want the seats to move it becomes tricky because some of the low mount sliding seating options don't always let the seat slide in the lowest position so its hard to know. I'm looking at doing seats too and the plan is to get these for mine, might do this before January too just to be sure of the cost... www.maruhamotors.co.jp/parts/seatrail.php (open in chrome and let it translate).

Cheers for the reply. I did see the LE Driver seats too, but wondered if the wider shoulders would be an issue fitting into the cabin? Just looking at forum posts, I have read that the LE Standards appear to be a bit more comfy than the Lotus seats, but these things are all relative...
For reference, I am 6'2'' with a 30/32'' waist and no fat or muscle to speak of! I'm also not too fussed about having the seat adjustable, but happened to see the SPS brackets and wondered what they were like.

I've got an LE Pro to go in the passenger side of mine at some point, seems comfy for the 5 minutes I've sat in it (although very short in the base, but needs to be tilted back to get round that).
It seems to be a reasonable compromise in terms of support, fit and reasonably low sides to allow you to get in/out without needing to be triple jointed...
