Hi all
Recently back to 5 ownership, including the rusted bolts and scraped knuckles, after a number of years away. Had two 5s in years gone by. Last one being a mk2 RS, which I wish I didn't have to dispose of.
Now have a mk2.5 sport in need of some attention.
How things have changed whilst have been away. No more so than finding out today that Blink have "decided not carry on" when enquiring about a service.
A new site to join also ....... Although been stalking for a while though!

Blimey, I thought Blink were firmly established - perhaps they've not had so much trade in the past 15 months, what with no-one driving anywhere and most motorsport events cancelled. Welcome to the forum BTW  |

I hope there may be some way it can carry on but I appreciate it may be unlikely. As noted in that thread, with both Blink and Skuzzle gone, are we not somewhat light in terms of dedicated 5 tuners / garages now? |

As far the car goes will upload pictures.
Unfortunately, I managed to scrape the front wing at the weekend.
So far, had four new tyres and alignment. I am part way through doing brakes, Rodder's pads, new discs and brake fluid. Came across stripped caliper locking bolts, having been done so tight it was ridiculous, and so will hopefully finish the job tomorrow with new new bolts and sliders.
Then getting an expert eye to look over it before doing battle with what rust is on the car. Not too much rust given it is a UK car - although it has only done 45K miles so must have spent a lot of time in a garage.

It is BRG.
Already booked in to have the rust dealt with. Sills need some attention although chassis legs look OK.
Car has been into Rodders for a service, just need to replace a driveshaft/diff seal now.
