Suspect that's going to be part of the issue. I'll probably spend days with the multimeter trying to discover what the hell is wrong.

Also check you haven't been really clever like me and replaced the fuse that you are supposed to take out...
If you leave it in, it blows up a transistor and then dues weird things.

FML - I am such a 'feckin idiot. Not only was a fuse reinstalled in the St-Sign slot, it was also a 30amp one rather than the original 10amp that's there in a standard car. So that's my full injection circuit/driver in the MS2 screwed, which is why there is no power to the fuel pump. I have no recollection of installing the fuse and absolutely no clue as to why I would have ever put a 30amp in the slot. At least I now know what the problem is. . . it's meΒ Thanks fella. Now if you can just tell me how you fixed yours that would be great!Β

Opened up my MS2 and confirmed I'm a tool. I have to say - Dimitri @ MS Labs puts these together beautifully. Even has a tell-tale.

I didn't have thet link that has burned out. My transistor had let the smoke out: So i guess in theory that has acted as a fuse and saved you. I would jump that link, and i think that will solve your problem - if you tkae that fuse out. But if you do it again... it won't. Anybody else think that's a terrible idea?

Bridged it with a single strand of copper soldered at each end. Pump now runs fine. π
Car still won't start though.

Anyone know what this plug is for? It's on the same branch of the loom as the coil pack connector.

a click may not be enough, I've had one that clicked but wouldn't give enough current to run the pump properly (low fuel pressure). ignition/timing if you do have some fuel on the plugs. cas ? also did you check the big ignition relay under the dash ? it's much bigger than the B6S8, I think it's called B577. I've ordered both B6S8 and B5S4 relays to rule them out of the equation.
