I've got a 1.6 as well. I chucked in a set of 1.8 injectors whilst I was at it. I have 1.8 injectors in mine, is that a MKI engine then? (I couldn't see the fuel rail!)

Yeah, '92 engine. 180k miles and going strong....ish. Spare engine is sat in the garage waiting for some attention and my HKS cams to go in.

Oh, more details about the trumpets if you will! How do they fit on? Looks dead smart.

They just bolt over the end of the ITBs? Very smart.

At risk of sounding a moron, this is everything i'd need, right? (Already have an ecu) danstengineering.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=382&search=Mx5I'd add the throttle cable kit to it, but otherwise, that'd just bolt on and be everything i'd need, isn't it? Getting to the point where although I could buy a flange and have a mate make up an inlet, i'd rather buy a kit off the shelf I can just bolt on (and although it'd probably be the better option, i'm not keen on paying the 750+VAT for Jenveys).

I don't see a vTPS listed with those ITBs (I didn't really look though ) Oh, and you'll need a ECU...

Already have an IAT & wideband (have been running the MS for the last 18 months), vac block, fair point, i'd thought about that in the past, but not just then. But if that's about all else I need, i'm going to have to really think about pressing buy on them...
vTPS, fair point, although I thought the standard GSXR TPS could be used, no?

I'd just check that the vTPS is included, that's all I meant The GSXR one will be fine.

Fair point. Assumption is the mother of all Canoe ups etc.
Imma throw a wanted thread up first, see if I can get a used set, try to save myself some money, but if all else fails, I think I'll be looking at that setup then...

Looks like some useful information there. Feel free to ask any questions here, hopefully this will become a useful Q&A thread for ITBs. I can post some stuff about the Megasquirt setup this weekend if I get some time (and if there's any interest). It'll mostly be about different fuelling modes and getting a really basic tune onto the car.
