Ad08r Great performance today on a flooded race track. Good grip in the wet. Predictable smooth feeling when they have hit the limit. In the wet they keep a great feeling once they are hot. Aqua plainig was pretty much non existent. They seem to adapt with how your driving. Felt like they were alive. Maybe in my head but from what I felt it seemed like they learned how to perform better once they had settled in each heat cycle they were going through and each layer of rubber was being used. Very impressed by a summer semi slick on a flooded race track.

A lot will come down to the driver, I took many class wins last year on 1As not just against Mazdas, reckon the Autosolo experience plays a big part as your not so afraid to just throw the car in to a corner and sort it out

I've just got a full set of Toyo T1-R (195/50/15) fitted, they were on offer and I'm not exactly flush, but Glasgow is rain. Maybe made a bad decision here My 14's have Vredstein, unsure of what type.

PZero Nero GT- on the car when I bought it, really like them, no track driving but great on the road, loads of grip in dry and wet, what i don't know is how much of the great handling and grip is down to the tyres being good or just normal mx5 handling and grip.
Looking at switching to 15s so will have to find an alternative otherwise I'd have them again.

People slate them nowadays as you can get better, but they are absolutely fine, so if flush a very good choice

Yep, had a set of TR1s and they lasted five minutes, no better grip than the Rainsports just less milage

I'm talking before you started MOT Nick, almost everyone had them at some point (probably you too) and they were fine for every day cheap tyres, certainly no ditch finders. I would not buy them again now, but was trying to put the chaps mind at rest that they're fine if they were cheap/on a budget.
