where exactly did you find the liquid, and what does it look like soaked into a white paper towel ? the heater matrix hoses clamps are actually behind a plastic cover to the left of the brake pedal on a RHD car, it's a pig to get to. but that's the first place to check for leaks. It has to be heater matrix. No other source for it.

Will, it's all tuned again with me injectors Much smoother at low revs.
Also a different Dyno, which I like a lot more.. 213bhp at the hubs.

Fair enough, get the covers off, it's a bit of a pig, you have to disconnect the flap for the blower since it's got a big control rod in the way, then undo the cover. You can do all that without taking out the interior, btw.

I might just loop the pipes in the engine bay if it's not an obvious/simple fix.

Pretty sure it is the connection from the soft lines to the heater matrix hard lines. There is coolant under the connection in the engine bay as well as in the footwells. The copper (?) pipes were pretty beaten up and I had to try to straighten then out when I put it all together, so I think they are just out of round Will try bypassing it before taking the whole lot out. I really have no need for a heater. It's a fair weather car at best at the moment.

the (copper??) heater pipes are soft and easily damaged / deformed, Mazda used spring-type hose clamps as opposed to 'jubilee' clamps as they give a more gentle clamp in a sorta round fashon (unlike Jubilee ) remove the rubber hose & you can 'feed' a short length of copper heaterpipe (probably unavailable in ConUS???) into as a strengthener.... I'll find photo's later Rich.

ALSO..... the 'passanger' front brakepipe is awfully close to the turbo's downpipe Rich.

ALSO..... the 'passanger' front brakepipe is awfully close to the turbo's downpipe Rich. It is... But it has been like that for the entire time... I do plan to put something around it however.

Rich.

That's a really smart approach Zed. I'd expect nothing less.

I've just connected the two pipes in the engine bay with an elbow and been for a blast - seems to be holding.
Gives me some time to sort out the pipes properly. The are quite out of shape...

Try and get some of the original Mazda spring clamps, there is less chance of them distorting the pipes.
