Yes, fancy
Do it from the start, Tom it needs to be seen in it's entirety and there are obviously quite a few folk on here that haven't seen it before. You were in the doldrums with it a not so long ago, are you over that now?
I'm just stripping the interior out of mine at the moment and trying to find somewhere to refurb the Recaros but not having much joy, nobody seems to want the job. The search continues
OK, I'll spend some time and do it from the start... Deep Breath....
Try www.auto-trim.co.uk/ who are in Leicester, Just searched my emails and they quoted my 360 + VAT with the logos, complete material replacement.... in Black brushed nylon.
This was August 2014 I enquired and dealt with Lee Gardner (Before i decided to take the whole car apart).... Only sent pics though, not face to face. They had good reviews.
Believe it or not I'm quite impatient and with this RS project I wanted it all done asap, now I've realigned myself and it take as long as it takes, especially with other hobbies and interests I have that take up a fair but of time (Mountain Biking/Trackdays in the MK2). I would like to take the approach of do it once right.
The only thing I would like is to finish it in a summer so I can enjoy it.... Once the welding is complete this is a massive milestone, as i can paint the underside and get the subframes and all back on.....Then get the exterior painted/engine bay before engine is installed.... Need to decide who to get it painted by....
I've purchased an air compressor and some kit to epoxy the underside, and for the stone chip (I plan to use U-POL Raptor tinted for the underside). Have you painted anything in the Montego blue?
Also on the look out for a cheap 1800 eunos MK1 (Not worried if its rusty) , to use as reference for harness routing/assembly etc, that I can break to get some money back.
