Afternoon All Looking for a bit of help to identify an imported Facelift MK2.5 S.... Its on a W plate (2000) and was imported in 2006 Going to look at a MK2.5 import 'S' - 6 Oclock dials/nardi wheel
- VVT engine
- Bilstein sus
Now by looking at the door shut sticker it is a grade S I know a MK2.5 RS has the tweaked ECU with a power output of 160PS with the VVT engine I am trying to determine two things, if the 'S' has the same spec engine and does it have a torsen??? Anyone on here with a MK2.5 RS and can confirm the ECU label number as I may be able to identify it from this?

They're the same engine, power, and transmission if that's what you mean.
The RS and RS-2 were the JDM equivalent of the UK Mk2.5 Sport so had the 16" alloys, larger brakes, Bilstein dampers, chassis bracing etc

The 16" wheels? Yeh they the same as the Uk version, a swept five-spoke design. The design changed later on to a split five-spoke.
What did you want to know about the Mk2 version?

Do you have a brochure photo like the one you put up for the MK2.5? What wheels come standard in a MK2 RS?

There were three types of 1800 Mk2 in Japan, the S, the RS, and the VS. There were also three types of 1600 model, the Special Package, the M Package, and the Basic (but we ain't interested in those).
