Beautiful shots guys. We have some talent here I love decent photography as I've worked in graphic design all my life. Although I am an illustrator, I used to spend the other half of my time being a retoucher. So I respect your craft very much! I quite like taking a snap with my phone but that is about it. Although I would like to get a point and click job. Perhaps a Cannon G10 or whatever number they are up to now!

Although I would like to get a point and click job. Perhaps a Cannon G10 or whatever number they are up to now! I think they're up to no. 13 or 14? You wouldn't even have to go to that level. There are plenty of bridge cameras that'll give you the full control that you need for more creative photography without spending big bucks and they just lose out on that last nth of quality. Some even shoot RAW now. I recently picked up a Sony HX50 for about £80 as my 'occasional' travel camera. No complaints so far and an insane amount of zoom...
